This is Pendrells last appearance on the X-Files. He has been shot and is bleeding. Pendrell is taken by paramedics to the hospital. A distressed Scully insists that they take good care of Pendrell. However, later the next day, Scully informs Mulder that Agent Pendrell died. We hear the regret in Scully's voice as she confides in Mulder that she didn't even know Pendrells first name. Rest in peace Agent Pendrell.
